    Being healthy and tasty, this smoothie recipe is truly worth trying!

    INGREDIENTS

    1/2 cup blueberries
    1/2 cup strawberries
    1/2 cup blackberries
    1 medium carrot
    1 cup low-fat milk
    1 cup pomegranate (or cranberry)
    2 cups ice

    DIRECTIONS

    • Put all the ingredients in a blender except for the ice. Once smooth, add ice and puree until smooth.
    • Makes 2 servings.

    Acai is known to be a great detoxifying fruit which makes this recipe worth trying.

    INGREDIENTS

    12 ounces Acai Juice
    6 ounces almond or soy milk (or almond milk)
    1 Tbsp soy creamer
    1 cup frozen wild blueberries
    1 banana (frozen)
    1/2 cup frozen raspberries
    1 Tbsp Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal (or blueberry)
    1 cup ice cubes (or coconut water ice cubes)
    1 Tbsp Macro Greens powder
    1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
    1-3 dashes cayenne powder

    DIRECTIONS

    • Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth and pour into two glasses.
    • Makes 2 servings.

    It’s very seldom that I come across lime smoothie recipes and it’s very understandable. For this recipe, using sweeteners is ideal to have an enjoyable drink.

    INGREDIENTS

    1/2 cup lime (sliced)
    3/4 cup low-fat milk
    1 cup lime sherbet (can be light or low fat)
    1/2 cup raspberries
    2 cups ice

    DIRECTIONS

    • Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth and serve.
    • If preferred, use sherbet instead of key lime yogurt for a smoother consistency and variety in flavor.

    INGREDIENTS

    * 1/2 large lemon, peeled
    * 1 large orange, peeled
    * 1 large organic apple, cored
    * 2 cups or handfuls organic baby spinach (or other leafy green)
    * 4 to 6 ounces of filtered of water

    DIRECTIONS

    • Set the blender to high settings after adding all the ingredients. Puree for 30 seconds or until smooth.
    • Squeeze the lemon into the smoothie if preferred or have it peeled and tossed in similar with an orange. Use lime to substitue lemon or grapefruit for the orange.
